Clinical Supervision
At the heart of effective clinical practice is a strong foundation of self-awareness, skill development, and a supportive network. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am committed to guiding Associate-level professionals—Clinical Social Work Associates, Professional Counselor Associates, and Marriage and Family Therapy Associates—on their journey to licensure through the OBLSW and OBLCPT.
Why Clinical Supervision Matters
People thrive when they feel supported and empowered. Clinical supervision provides a collaborative and nurturing space where you can deepen your clinical skills, develop self-awareness, and gain the confidence to navigate the complexities of therapeutic practice. My approach emphasizes empathy, compassion, and a systems-oriented perspective, ensuring that both you and your clients benefit from our work together.
What I Offer
Individual and Group Supervision: Tailored to your unique needs and professional goals.
Relational and Systemic Focus: Grounded in a holistic understanding of individuals within their family and environmental contexts.
Social Justice Orientation: Acknowledging the impact of diversity, equity, and inclusion on clinical work.
Personal and Professional Growth: Supporting your development as a person-of-therapist to enhance your clinical effectiveness.
Supervision Philosophy
I view clinical supervision as an honor and privilege—a partnership that lays the groundwork for your independent practice. My approach integrates principles from the Discrimination Model, the Integrated Developmental Model, the Multicultural Relational Model, and Relational Cultural Theory. Together, we’ll explore:
Strengthening your clinical skills and theoretical understanding.
Navigating ethical dilemmas and complex cases with confidence.
Building resilience and self-compassion as you balance professional and personal demands.
How I Work
Just as I do in therapy with children and families, I aim to create a safe and supportive environment for associates. My supervision approach mirrors my belief in the importance of relationships. By understanding your unique background and lived experiences, I’ll help you connect with your clients and their environments in meaningful ways.
Supervision Rates
$125/60 mins, $175/90 mins for individual supervision
$75/60 mins, $90/90 mins for group (2+) supervision (if available)
$185/one hour individual consultation for licensed clinicians
Those who identify as a member of a non-dominant culture (e.g.BIPOC, transfolk, those who identify as non-binary, or LGBTQIA+, queer) are eligible for a reduced rate in order to encourage the development and success of non-dominant cultures in the therapy field.
Your Path to Independence
My ultimate goal as a supervisor is to work myself out of a job: By the time you complete your clinical hours, you’ll feel equipped, confident, and ready to thrive in your independent practice.
Let’s embark on this journey together, building a foundation for a fulfilling career as a skilled and compassionate therapist. Contact me today to learn more about how we can collaborate on your path to licensure!
